Some other cakes I've made in the last year or so that for some reason haven't made it onto the blog yet.

The other cake I made last halloween, for a colleague's party.







I did a Supernatural convention back in May and this time I went as a vendor. Spent the week before baking, and these were the results!















That was a lot of baking!

A Very Important Birthday Cake

One of my closest friends, Zoe, she of the Birthday Party/Baby Shower cake asked me if I could make the cake for her little boy's first birthday.

I was delighted, even more so when we got down to what the party theme was and I realised I'd have a chance to get really creative. The theme was Alice in Wonderland, and she asked for a Mad Hatter's tea party cake.

The figures are all made out of sugarpaste and were my first sugar models. I was extremely proud of how they turned out and can't wait for another opportunity for figure modelling in the future.
